Bridal Shower Numero Uno

I'm going to start by saying that I am extremely blessed. I have great women in my life. Two of my sisters and mother threw me a bridal shower last week and boy did I feel overwhelmed by the people who came and by the gifts that were given. Everyone went above and beyond.

And I was even more blessed that the bridal shower happened to fall on the week Blake's mom and sister were in town visiting! 

I will admit Blake and I felt extremely awkward opening up all the gifts while everyone was watching. I'm that girl at Christmas who slowly lets my pile of presents stack up hoping no one will notice so I don't have to open them while people are watching. I fail at it each year. But again, we received some amazing gifts and felt so loved by everyone who came!

If you know me, you know I love all things pineapple. So my sisters made it a pineapple theme and boy was awesome! All the food was delicious and the decorations so cute. Hopefully, recipes will be coming soon. If I don't post them here on my blog they will be over on Sisters, What!

Let me just say I don't like cake. But this cake......YUM!

Pina Colada Popcorn. Guys this was DELICIOUS. Everyone needs to hurry and make it. 

Pineapple and strawberry water. It was so good that it will be making a reappearance at our reception.

Someday soon I'll post the recipe to this delicious salad featuring pineapple and pineapple dressing. Super healthy, super yummy!

My soon to be nephew!

My sister, Havalah, got to bring her boys. Luke, the older one, helped us by bringing us all the presents. Frost, the younger one, helped us by eating all the Pina Colada Popcorn. 

My wonderful mom who I'll be eternally grateful for. She has been there for every one of my meltdowns and still loved me after them.

It was a great night and not as awkward and uncomfortable as I thought it would be. So grateful to everyone who came and helped us feel so much love!
