Instagram Lately

Life has been busy lately and I seem to only do updates on the big adventures but my life is so much more than the big stuff. So I thought I'd do a little update on the every day by sharing my Instagram and all that has been going on there. 

This was a fun night for Blake and I. With my job sometimes I get to attend really cool events and sometimes I even get to bring Blake. This event was The Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel Team Member of the Year Gala. We got to dress up, eat good food and enjoy some good entertainment. It was great to see how much Lucky Eagle appreciates their employees. 

I still can't get over how much fun this small Saturday adventure was if you didn't read about it yet check it out here. It wasn't a big ordeal but nice to be outside and not stuck in an office. 

I've never been a huge Valentines Day fan, but this year changed that. Blake and I didn't do anything huge or overly special but spending the day with someone you love, and knowing that someday that love will be eternal just makes it so much better. P.S. I promise we didn't match on purpose :). 

I caught this picture on the way to work last week and about 10 minutes after I posted it, it started pouring rain. But despite that, I couldn't help but think how lucky I was and how beautiful of a place I live in. 

If you've never been to The Small Seed website you need to right now. They started the "Choosing to Love Myself" campaign and I couldn't help but jump aboard. I can't say I've been perfect at following each daily challenge but I can say it really has helped me because each day when I start thinking negatively about myself I think of this campaign and I remind myself to stop it. We are all children of God and we should never put ourselves down. But don't take my word for it, check it out now!

Can you tell I'm trying to read too many books at once? Added to this list: I just finished listening to In This Together by Ann Romney and now am listening to Me Before You by JoJo Moyes. All great books - book reviews coming soon!

In January, I went to two different weddings within a week of each other in two different states for two of my close friends. It was a lot of travel in a short time but I'm so glad I could be there for them on their big day!

One of the weddings was in Utah and so I got to spend some time with my nieces and nephews. My niece kept trying to find a piece of her dress ups that would fit me and when she kept failing she proceeded to tell me "I need to find something huge." This resulted in a rocking headband.
